Samsung Unveils Transparent OLED Screen Laptop

by Ferman Aziz on May 25, 2010

Samsung comes out with the world’s first and largest transparent OLED prototype. It is a 14-inch notebook, the first of its kind. When it is switched off the panel is up to 40 percent transparent. Samsung envisions storefront advertising, HUDs for helmets and car windshields. Imagine having your maps or routes laid out on your windscreen while you are driving. Sounds like something amazing out of a Sci-Fi movie but a dream soon to be realised.
