Verizon and Motorola announced last week that they’ll be unveiling the new Droid smartphone on June 23rd (Tomorrow) in a press conference in New York City. Though it’s smart thinking to do that one day before the official sales of the iPhone 4, but don’t expect the Droid X to be in the market the same day.
A new teaser has been released on YouTube showcasing all the goodies expected (4.3″ WVGA screen, an 8 megapixel camera) but quashing rumours of a June release. The release date is July 2010 as shown clearly in the ad but there’s something the ad does not show clearly. A twisted flickering image in the ad looks like the digit 2 raising speculations and guesses that the date is July 2nd, 2010. Check out the images yourself and decide.
