Apple has finally launched its already mega popular tablet today (28th May) in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK. Most countries have reported long cues outside Apple stores with some fans even spending the night outside one outlet in the US.
Reports came in from Japan especially where the iPhone is the most popular smartphone amongst users and it appears that the iPad is set to break new sales records in the tech savvy country.
Recent reports revealed that the iPad is sold out at most Apple stores, and some estimates claim Apple is selling 200,000 iPads per week. With this kind of response globally, Apple needs to make sure it has enough supplies to meet the massive demand.
