Apple Presents the New Mac Mini

Apple has unveiled an ultra chic looking, much thinner and upgraded version of its Mac Mini in Aluminum unibody casing and more powerful hardware than the older version. The new Mac Mini is sleek and shiny to look at with just a 1.4 inch thin casing and is offering an HDMI output and an SD card reader for the first time.

Available in 2 models, the more basic version comes equipped with a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, 2 GB of RAM, a 320 GB hard drive and a NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics chip, costing $ 699. The $999 version, sports a 2.66GHz Core 2 Duo, 4 GB of RAM, dual 500 GB 7200-rpm hard drives, GeForce 320M graphics and Mac OS X Server Snow Leopard. Features that both models share are an SD card reader, 802.11n Wi-Fi, 4 USB ports and a Mini Display Port jack.
